Buyer's Closing Costs

As a buyer, you are typically responsible for the following costs:

  • Mortgage origination fees
  • Appraisal
  • Credit report
  • Flood certification
  • Notary fees
  • Interest to the end of the month
  • Transfer taxes
  • Deed recording
  • Mortgage recording
  • Homeowner's insurance
  • All inspections you wish to have done, including but not limited to: general home inspection, termite/pest inspection, lead inspection, mold inspection, septic system or well inspection
  • Association or condominium fee, if applicable (Capitalization funding, if required)
  • Title Insurance policy
  • Taxes (County, Municipal, School, Trash and Sewer)
  • Conveyancer charges
